In honour of Valentines Day and to make up for the fact that I am a very bad wife and have had a girly sleep over with friends instead of waking up next to Mr C today I thought I ought to leave him a special little surprise to keep him occupied until I return.
Inspired by English Mums cupcakes post I decided to make some of my own.

Wow what a professional job
Your cupcakes are just beautiful! What did you use to pipe the icing in lovely big swirls like that?

Thanks for all your lovely comments. Wish i could repay you all with a cake.
Pamela - the swirls were done with a M1 Wilton Nozzle. I have always used a cheap icing bags from Wilkinsons and lusted after a Wilton set.
This week I bought a set Wilton 12 Piece Cupcake Decorating Set" from www.craftcompany.co.uk and it is fab. Beautiful swirls and it even came with an instruction leaflet.
