His First Kiss Went A Little Like This….

.

When Mr C collected Snaffles from nursery this week he was met with the usual outline of whether Snaffles had been a good boy and what he had been up to that day.

Thankfully he had been a good boy but it seems he found his own entertainment for the day.

Rather than declaring that the girls were yucky and stinky like he usually does he spent most of his day with one particular girl and had been mostly kissing her.

When I asked him about it he got very shy. I asked where he had kissed her and apparently it was “all over”!

It seems that he has gone for the older women.

My boy is only 3 and it seems he has his first little crush. Is this what life with a boy is going to be like?

How cute! I can't say my 4 year old has been through this stage though, he considers all girls to be 'yuck' although he's already decided who he's going to marry! They're so funny. Sounds like Snaffles is enjoying nursery!

Very cute! My oldest daughter HATES kisses - so sad - she won't even let us give her a little kiss on her head - which I tend to do out of habit as I hug her goodnight and she says, 'Remember Mummy, I don't like kisses'.... ah well x

My boy had a total crush at 3 years on 'Daisy' at a wedding we were at. He spent hours chasing after her, calling her name, while she - alas - was likewise obsessed with the older, 'Jamie' and ignored my wee boy.
I half-heartedly said that chasing her wasn't cool and if he left her alone she'd probably come running (well, it's true when we're older, no? Anything to save his poor little face). For once, he followed my advice and I couldn't believe it when only five minutes later Daisy came running up, calling my boy's name and desperate to play with him.
Seems little boys and girls are as predictable as us adults...!
I hope your son's burgeoning romance is still going strong, though not, perhaps, quite as fast as his comment might imply. ;-)

It seems romance was short lived. I have sent him off to nursery this morning and asked if he was going to play with said girl and apparently not.
