I Spy

Our latest way of passing car journeys is a game of I-Spy. Snaffles is now at an age where he is aware of letters and what sounds they make and is fairly good at understanding what letter a word begins with.

I thought I would share some of Snaffles I-Spy’s with you.

“I spy with my little eye something beginning with Cloud”

“I spy with my little eye something white”

“I spy with my little eye something beginning with *I then hear whispers of tree and a few seconds pass while he tries to work out the correct letter* T

You also have to be very good at remembering things you have driven past in the last 2 minutes because it still takes him a little while to choose an object and work out what letter it begins with.

He is definitely getting there with his letters and this is by far the cutest car game to play when we are out and about together.

  1. Sounds very familiar! The best one my daughter did (age 6 at the time) began with D. I tried and tried but couldn't guess it. It was the "distance". We would always point out things in the distance, so she thought the distance was an actual thing!
