The Thrill Of A Good Book

.

I love books. I used to dream of a house big enough for a book case and to fill its shelfs with books.

I can not remember an age I wasn't a book worm. Mr C is always amazed at how fast I can get through them.

Sadly though my house is already full to bursting and I therefore do not buy as many books as I would like to.

I went through a phase of using the library regularly but I ended up paying more in late fines than I would have for the actual books.

Thanks to the birthday fairy (aka Mr C) I am now the lucky owner of a Kindle.

I wasn't sure about it at first. I couldn't get used to the screen and I wasn't sure it could replicate the thrill of choosing a book and turning it's pages.

I have soon changed my mind. I love my Kindle, its so easy getting the books, I love that can read reviews before I make a purchase and how it recommends other similar books.

I love that I can potentially share books with friends still (although yet to find one with sharing permissions)

I soon whizzed through my first book in only a couple of days.

I can't wait to download some more books, feel free to recommend some for me.

I've just discovered the ability to lend books - a great improvement (although would like to have longer for people to read them)
