Tots100 Book CLub - Breaking The Silence by Diane Chamberlain

As part of the Tots100 book club, in association with Tesco Books, the lovely Yummy Mummy Flabby Tummy reviewed Lorraine Pascal’s Home Cooking Made Easy and nominated me for this month of the Tots100 book club.

I love books almost as much as I love wool. That said you can’t really take your crochet in the bath or to a spa so perhaps books have the edge. Mr C also knows how much I love books and I think was becoming a tad fed up of the expanding piles of books so bought me a Kindle. This has only increased my love for a good book. I seem to be reading them even quicker now.

One of my favourite, recent reads is Breaking The Silence by Diane Chamberlain. This is my first Diane Chamberlain book and it certainly won’t be my last.

“Laura Brandon's promise to her dying father was simple: to visit an elderly woman she'd never heard of before. A woman who remembers nothing—except the distant past. Visiting Sarah Tolley seemed a small enough sacrifice to make. “

I need thrill and excitement in a book, I don’t have much time for reading so if I am giving up my time for a book it needs to be good, in fact better than good. I don’t like predictable.

The chapters are split between Laura’s journey and also that of Sarah. Just when you think you know what the next chapter will hold something comes along to give you more to think about. Each time you figure out how the book may end new events unfold and more details click into place.

You will be hooked until the end.

I am recommending this book to Mummy's Moments, time to put her feet up and relax.

If you fancy seeing what other books people are recommending why not check out the Tots100 book club.
