Sometimes things land in your inbox that you know most people would just think “WHY!?”
On this occasion I knew that there was someone in my life who would totally understand why.
I don’t really know why or how but for some reason Mr C, my boys and a certain friend (who may not yet be ready to admit her love publicly) love David Hasselhoff. The Hoff as he is usually known in our house.
There is no logical reason to love him so much, he is not aparticularly inspirational role model, he has long since hung up his Baywatch shorts and he talks about himself in the third person. He is just one of those personalities that you can not help but watch.
Scott Mills meets the Hoff, not a Saturday night prime time showing anyone’s books but compulsive viewing in our household!
Even when Snaffles was 4 he could recognise the Hoff and usually shouted out “don’t hassle the Hoff” if he spotted him on TV. The single, “Jump In My Car” he had out was almost as annoying as the Gangnam Style song. (almost!).
His appearance on
’s Got Talent was Saturday night gold dust. The fact that he couldn’t understand half of the participants accents didn’t seem to stop him enjoying their acts. Britain
Another game Mr C and Snaffles like playing is talking in “hoffisisms”;
A cup of Hoffee
(you so wish you lived with us don’t you!)
Disclosure: I received Hoff themed goodiesand a voucher in return for this post.
